Recommended SP2 Hotfix available: SQL Server 2012 with Service Pack 2 (Slipstream) ISO/DVD images released on 7/1/2014 were previously disabled to fix an installation issue as described in KB Article 2984316 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2984316). If you downloaded a SQL Server 2012 with Service Pack 2 slipstream between 7/1/2014 - 7/9/2014 you will need to follow the instructions below or install the SQL Server 2012 with Service Pack 2 (Slipstream) ISO/DVD images released on 7/18/2014 as these images include a fix to the installation issue.

Note: Full edition SQL Server 2012 with Service Pack 2 ISO/DVD images were previously made available for download on 7/1/2014. These downloads have been temporarily disabled while an installation issue where Service Pack 2 was not being installed as part of the slipstream installation process is resolved.

  • If you have already installed, or plan to install, a version of the previously released ISO from this site, you have the following options:
    • Apply this Service Pack 2 patch to the RTM installation.
    • Uninstall, and re-install using this updated SQL Server 2012 with Service Pack 2 ISO/DVD image.
